  1. I think this is an awesome idea and I hope the word really starts to spread. Everybody please pay it forward!

  2. I have been trying to pay it forward, I must admit it is difficult at times. The hardest part has been that sometimes I don't want to give the card or ask them to pay it forward. Sometimes is just doesn't feel right, like it might deminish the service I have just given. I have decided that sometimes giving the service is enough and I need to listen to my heart and decide on an individual basis if I should pass the card along or if I should let the service stand on its own so that the people don't think I only helped them so I could pass the card along. Just a thought - I hope you are all having a great experience paying it forward!

  3. The other day I had a good time paying it forward, it was about 8:00pm and I was walking to my car and would be leaving campus for the night. I saw a young female college student struggling to climb the hill to the dorms with both hands loaded with grocery bags. I felt impressed to help her. I walked up to her and asked if she would like a ride. She seemed thrilled. I helped her carry the bags to my car and gave her a ride home. It felt good to help someone and I think it made a big impact on her night. Keep paying it forward! Let me know about some of your experiences!

  4. I feel like i have waited way too long to post! Im sorry Time just seems to slip way. Im sure everyone knows how i feel.
But my experience with pay it forward has been really good for me. I feel like a lot of the time im at school im not actively seeking to do service. And this was a very good opportunity to make it more known in my mind, and hopefully the mind of other students around me.
My first experience with the cards was really neat and i would just like to share that experience with you guys. It was something so small, but it is what started off all my "paying it forward"
My visual Media class is stressful to say the least, and about every other tuesday we have a new project due and its sooooo stressful. You have to have all of your steps printed and ready to turn in. And half the time the copy spot it so full, there is no time to print. So we usually print in the spori color printer. And there was this guy in my class that didnt have his I card and was going to run home and get it with the 10 mins we had before class. So i simply said, here use mine. And slipped him my I-card and a bright shinny pay it forward card. It started this really good conversation with my class mates, and hopefully affected others. I was really excited to give away my first card!
